Ornament

Ornament was a normal ornament, hanging on a Christmas tree for many years. He was happy with his life, until one day, he was taken to a toy store. He was put on a shelf with many other ornaments, and he watched as children came and went, picking out the ornaments they wanted for their trees. Ornament was sad that he would never be chosen, but he knew that he was just a decoration, and that was his purpose. One day, a little girl came into the store with her parents. She looked at all of the ornaments, and she saw Ornament. She smiled and said, "That's the one I want!" Her parents were surprised, because Ornament was not the most beautiful ornament, but they let her have him. The little girl took Ornament home and put him on her Christmas tree. She loved him very much, and she would talk to him every night. Ornament was happy to finally have a home, and he loved the little girl very much. One day, the little girl got sick. She had to go to the hospital, and she was there for a long time. Ornament missed her very much, and he would sit on her bed and wait for her
