He was eventually beheaded by Afrasiab's henchmen. His wife managed to escape to Iran, where her son became the next Shah, Kay Khosrow. Finally, Shah Kay Khosrow took a terrible revenge on Afrasiab and inflicted a heavy defeat on the Turanian army.
