Otomo-no miko

Otomo-no Miko was a princess of the land of Izumo. She was a kind and gentle soul, with long black hair and a beautiful singing voice. One day, a great fire broke out in the palace. Otomo-no Miko tried to save her people, but she was too late. The palace was destroyed and everyone inside was killed. Otomo-no Miko was heartbroken. She wandered the land, singing songs of mourning for her lost loved ones. One day, she came to a forest and saw a phoenix. The phoenix told Otomo-no Miko that it could bring her people back to life. Otomo-no Miko agreed, and the phoenix brought her people back to life. Otomo-no Miko was overjoyed. She thanked the phoenix and promised to always honor it. She then returned to her kingdom and ruled wisely and justly for many years.
