Kousei ARIMA

Kousei Arima is a 14-year-old boy who was a child prodigy pianist until the age of 11, when his mother died. After her death, he became unable to hear the sound of his own piano playing, and he stopped playing altogether. Two years later, Kousei meets Kaori Miyazono, a violinist who is cheerful and free-spirited. Kaori inspires Kousei to return to the piano, and the two of them begin to play together. As they play together, Kousei begins to heal from the trauma of his mother's death. He also begins to fall in love with Kaori. However, Kaori's health is declining, and she eventually dies. Kousei is devastated by Kaori's death, but he eventually finds the strength to continue playing the piano. He realizes that music is a way for him to connect with Kaori, even though she is gone.
