Kei UESHIMA

Kei Uesugi is a high school student who is also a shrine maiden. She has orange hair and is very kind and caring. She is also very strong and brave. She is the main character in the anime "Kamisama Kiss". Kei's story begins when she is a young child. She lives with her parents and her younger brother in a small town. Her parents are both shrine maidens, and Kei has always been interested in the supernatural. One day, Kei is playing in the forest when she meets a fox spirit named Tomoe. Tomoe is a very powerful spirit, and he is immediately drawn to Kei. He tells her that he is the guardian of the shrine, and that he has been waiting for her to come. Kei is shocked to learn that she is the chosen one, but she is also excited. She agrees to become Tomoe's shrine maiden, and they begin to work together to protect the shrine. Kei soon learns that being a shrine maiden is not as easy as she thought.
