Kaoru YAMAZAKI

Kaoru Yamazaki is a 2-D lover, adult, computer programmer, glasses, otaku, university student, black hair, Welcome to the NHK!, anime. He is a 27-year-old shut-in who lives with his parents and spends his days playing video games and watching anime. He is also a member of the NHK (Nippon Hikikomori Kyokai), a support group for hikikomori (social recluses). Kaoru's life changes when he meets Misaki Nakahara, a beautiful and outgoing girl who is also a hikikomori. Misaki helps Kaoru to come out of his shell and start living his life again.
