In the year 2063, the world has been ravaged by war and pollution. The few remaining humans live in small, isolated communities, struggling to survive in a harsh and unforgiving world. In one of these communities, two young girls named Chito and Yuuri live a simple life. They spend their days exploring the ruins of the old world, scavenging for supplies and trading with other survivors. They are content with their simple life, and they enjoy each other's company. One day, Chito and Yuuri are exploring the ruins of a city when they come across a strange robot. The robot is damaged and doesn't seem to be able to move. Chito and Yuuri decide to take the robot with them, and they name it "Mechanical Girl." Mechanical Girl becomes a valuable member of Chito and Yuuri's community.
